Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as expected We purchased these in the Fall as we have for the past several years. This year the tadpoles were much smaller (barely the minimum size). They did well for the first few weeks and then suddenly died off. In our experience, the larger tadpoles are hardier than these tiny specimens. Fingers crossed that the next order will be more successful. Linda Freis for D. G.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for teaching Developmental Biology! I've used these little guys for years and my 9th and 10th graders are always interested. They love seeing the morphological changes and I love integrating the cell differentiation and timeline into our lessons. We also have a school terrarium where the adults go. Its awesome to see and hear seniors pass it and try to find "their frog". They are super easy to care for and tie in well to many classification and anatomy lessons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Classroom Experience These tadpoles arrived quickly and safely to our classroom. They are healthy and continue to thrive in the aquarium where we house them. The students in my class are constantly wanting to watch them. They can't wait for them to develop into frogs.
