Caterpillars are shipped in their food container, with enough food to last until each caterpillar forms a chrysalis. Kids are amazed as they watch how fast the young caterpillars grow. Once chrysalises form, tape the cup covering to the roof of the provided Butterfly Cottage. Through the large viewing window, watch as the butterflies emerge! Kit also includes a handy poster to track the life cycle as it occurs, a fun and interactive butterfly finger puppet, lots of learning activities, and care instructions.
