Grades 3-5. In the interactive whiteboard activities for the STC™ unit, Floating and Sinking, students analyze objects that float and objects that sink. Students analyze factors that affect buoyancy of an object, identify objects that float and sink, and discuss meaning and significance of the International Load Line. Science notebooks are utilized as students reflect on their understanding of floating and sinking and how it relates to the development of the Plimsoll mark. Access for 1 teacher for 60 months.
