This compact but powerful filter sifts and pumps 80 gallons of water per hour at full flow. It provides the best mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration, aerating the water every hour.
Water is pumped through the Rapids Power Filter Cartridge, filtering undesirable particulate material and purifying the water with highly absorbing activated carbon. Then water flows through the bio-insert, where beneficial bacteria work to remove toxic ammonia and nitrite. Ideal for the 3-Gal Mini Desktop Aquarium Kit (item #161241), nano tanks, and other mini-reef applications.
