A Carolina Exclusive! Grades 9-12. Students create a model pond community, which allows them to investigate its biological diversity and species abundance, as well as explore the value of maintaining the overall health of a community. Through this firsthand experience, students gain an appreciation for the importance of biodiversity to an ecosystem and consider how biodiversity benefits humans. Kit Refill replenishes consumed materials.
