This lightweight, aluminum photographic tripod is ideal for use with cameras, binoculars, and small spotting scopes. Adjustable legs and geared center column provide a minimum height of 27" and a maximum height of 63". Easily attach optics via an included quick-release plate. Comes with built-in carrying handle, bubble levels, and soft-sided carrying case. An optional Binocular Tripod Adapter (item #602574) is available for mounting standard-size binoculars. Weigh capacity is about 4 lb.

The Celestron® Photographic/Video Tripod makes hands-free viewing through standard-size binoculars or small spotting scopes a breeze. The tripod's lightweight aluminum frame with built-in handle makes it easy to carry and take with you on camping trips or nature outings. The tripod's legs adjust fully to match required heights, and a geared central column with adjustable tension lets you raise the tripod head higher than the fully extended legs allow. Minimum height is 27"; maximum extended height is 63". A center brace stabilizes the legs, and extra weight can be hung at the bottom of the center column for increased stability.

The continuous-movement capabilities of the 3-way panning-style tripod head make taking videos or following a moving target smooth and easy. A quick-release plate on the panhead can be removed for easy attachment to the 1/4-20 port on the bottom of your camera or spotting scope. With porro or roof binoculars attached, the optional Binocular Tripod Adapter (item #602574) can also screw onto the quick-release plate, allowing you to snap the plate into the tripod head and lock it into place. Compatible with our standard-size Celestron® G2 Porro Series binoculars. Note: Make sure your binoculars are tripod mount adapter-capable; most standard-size binoculars are. This lightweight tripod is not meant to be used with heavy binoculars, spotting scopes, telescopes, or other equipment that weighs more than about 4 lb.
