Nine phases of animal cell mitosis are depicted on individual removable models that are approximately 10,000 times larger than an actual animal cell. Each phase is painted using the colors of common microscopy stains, allowing students to easily relate the models to examples seen under a microscope. Individual models are magnetic and can be arranged on whiteboards in your classroom. For convenience, the set comes with a durable plastic storage base that can be placed on a tabletop or hung on a wall.
The following phases of mitosis are depicted: interphase, prophase, early prometaphase, late prometaphase, metaphase, early anaphase, late anaphase, telophase, and cytokinesis.
