Grades 6–12. Bridge the gap between theory and practice! Everything in one box to master fundamentals of electricity and electronics. Students can build a range of hands-on projects, gain technical skills to prototype circuits, and learn concepts through experimentation and vivid observation. These kits include full-color detailed instruction manuals, a carrying case, components and tools, and 1-month complimentary access to Mand Labs™ Academy. Students may work individually or in small groups. Two 9-V batteries are needed but not supplied.

These all-in-one kits are your most comprehensive do-it-yourself (DIY) learning kits that take you on a journey of 50–60+ hands-on projects from fundamentals of electricity to advanced concepts of transistors in electronics and robotics.

  • Everything is step-by-step
  • The only electronics kit you need to master basic electronics in 25 hands-on hours
  • Use it with any programming platform: Arduino®/Raspberry Pi®/Micro:bit
  • Portable design with built-in storage to save space in classrooms
  • Aligned with NGSS

No prior experience in electronics is required. As a beginner, you start with simple hands-on projects, learn to use a digital multimeter, and grab the basic fundamentals of electricity, including charge, voltage, current, resistance, Ohm's law, and Kirchhoff's laws.

As you advance, you start learning about new components, make more complex projects, and progress both in terms of knowledge and skill levels. At the start of Book 2, you will be able to build interesting projects such as an automatic night lamp, an H-bridge (motor driver circuit used in robotics), and many more.

Mand Labs™ kits are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards*. Sample experiments include, but are not limited to:

  • Measuring voltage and resistance using a multimeter
  • Measuring current in a circuit using a multimeter and verifying Ohm's law
  • Continuity test of a relay using a multimeter
  • Sequential glow of LEDs
  • Protecting a circuit using a diode
  • Measuring the gain of a transistor
  • Half-wave and full-wave rectification
  • H-bridge (motor driving circuit)

Recommended for:

  • Middle and high school students
  • STEM educators
  • Physics and physical science courses
  • Leaders of space and robotics programs
  • Homeschooling parents

Note: Additional benefits must be redeemed online per the instructions provided. Carolina does not facilitate the redemption process.
