Advanced High School and College. The Panthera S series is designed with practicality and functionality in mind. After analyzing every detail of how students and professionals are using microscopes, Motic® redesigned the Panthera S from the ground up. It includes a 360° rotatable trinocular Siedentopf head especially configured for space-saving storage. Plan SC optics offer unprecedented optical quality in its class and support other contrast techniques with optional accessories such as phase contrast, darkfield, and polarizing. An extremely efficient low-power LED illumination system allows the Panthera S to run on an optional mobile battery pack for several hours, while an LED nosepiece illuminator displays the light intensity of the microscope. The trinocular head design is perfect for adding digital microscopy cameras. Order the optional C-mount adapter (item #591082) for connecting a C-mount-style camera. A USB output jack is built into the base for supplying power to optional external cameras such as Moticams.

• Objective Lenses: Motic’s Color Corrected Infinity Optical System (CCIS®). Plan SC achromat objectives 4x, 10x, 40xs, 100xs oil provide higher contrast images and a flatter field of view compared to standard achromat objectives.
• Nosepiece: Reversed quadruple nosepiece provides easier slide manipulation.
• Head: 25° inclined, 360° rotatable trinocular Siedentopf head provides comfortable viewing with less eye strain during extended use.
