The kit activities also give students an opportunity to hone their microscopy skills and practice designing hypotheses and experiments.

The activities in this kit address the following Next Generation Science Standards*:

  • HS-LS1-3. Plan and conduct an investigation to provide evidence that feedback mechanisms maintain homeostasis.

Kit materials include a 1-year single teacher subscription to access digital resources: reproducible teacher's manual and student guide, digital answer sheets, editable assessment questions, and graphics that can be used with whiteboard projectors.
