Drawn from several fasted animals, the bovine blood is free of antibiotics and preservatives other than the added anticoagulant sodium citrate, has been mixed together, and then aliquoted out. The blood is satisfactory for virological and serological work and for use in microbiological culture media.
Pooled blood is stored under refrigeration at 2 to 8° C; blood is shipped at ambient temperature. Product shelf life: 2 weeks. 50-mL bottle.
Shipped on Tuesdays only!! Orders placed by 12:00 noon, ET, on a Wednesday will ship overnight the following Tuesday (or a subsequent Tuesday if desired; select delivery date during checkout).
