Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to introduce kids to a more in depth water analysis. I have used this kit for many years. I teach environmental science on the block schedule, so I have the opportunity to use this kit repeatedly each year. I incorporate background investigation of the various chemicals that are tested for with the kit and a final presentation of findings as a means of making the overall experience more meaningful. The kit tests for many common chemicals/compounds that may be present in drinking water. I encourage my students to bring a sample from their own tap as well as from a local water source (creek, pond, stream) to test. That enables us to discuss the importance of understanding the significance of the chemicals that they are investigating. I love this kit! The only recommendation I have is that it would be helpful to be able to purchase refills instead of having to buy the whole kit each year.
