Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent We ordered 4 12 packs of these. They arrived on 2.26. 11 of my 12 survived. The other 3 teachers had similar results. Being able share this process with our students was amazing. My son is in love with them and they are now in my living room.... A++++++

Rated 3 out of 5 by from arrived in good shape I was very disappointed with how the tadpoles died within 4 hours after releasing into prepared water according to directions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ordered twice I ordered this product twice and both times the tadpoles were dead within 24 hours. We were not able to use them for the prepared lessons and feel that it was a waste of instructional funds.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Received toad tadpoles in order I have ordered from Carolina Biological before, but was disappointed to receive toad tadpoles. I teach pre-schoolers and it was harder for them to see the metamorphosis changes on such a small specimen. For future orders, I will not be ordering general early stage tadpoles, but will make sure I order bullfrog tadpoles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They all died I ordered 2 packs of 12 tadpoles. All but two tadpoles died. We had them seperated between 5 teachers and we each followed all of the directions. I knew that there was a possibility of losing a few of them, but 10/12 was too many!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as expected I did not expect these tadpoles to be Bullfrog tadpoles. I could have caught those myself. These tadpoles will undergo very little change over the course of my unit. Though the description did not specify the type of tadpole I did not expect them to be of very little use in the classroom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Neat but need more info Didn't know when purchasing that when they grow up(which can take 14 months or more) they need a twenty gallon tank each if you plan on keeping them. Also was not sure what kind of tank to house them in because there were not instructions, and when I put them in a 10 gallon fish tank several of them were sucked into the filter.
