In this game, players assume the role of research scientists with the goal of sowing the most plants with specific genotypes for seed shape, pod color, flower color, and/or plant height. Players take turns picking from a pool of offspring dice that represent possible genetic combinations to obtain or validate the genotype that matches their selected plants. The dice values are interpreted by players solving Punnett squares to determine the number of offspring in each generation that are homozygous dominant, heterozygous, or homozygous recessive. For a competitive edge, players may change parental genotypes to increase the odds of generating offspring dice that match their desired plants' traits, or to decrease the odds of producing offspring needed by their opposing players.
