This basic suturing kit utilizes synthetic human tissues that are perfect for suturing practice. They have a lifelike texture and appearance that enables students to realistically practice placement and removal of sutures and staples, anastomosis, laceration repair, cannulation, and application of adhesives. The synthetic tissue is compatible with laser scalpels, electrocautery and RF ablation devices, harmonic blades, mono- and bipolar devices, plasma knives, ultrasound equipment, and all known imaging equipment. Kit (item #567900) includes an 8 x 6 x 4" storage case, instruction manual, student-grade tools, scalpel with 3 blades, 3 assorted sutures, and synthetic tissue. Kit Refill (item #567904) includes 10 scalpel blades, 10 sutures, and 8 tissue-mounting pins.
