The left side of the body shows superficial musculature of the trunk and upper portions of the limbs. The left side of the brain is removable to view internal structures. The left side of the face is cut away to reveal the skull, a removable left eye, nasal passages, and musculature of the jaw. Other removable pieces include a chest plate with exposed breast tissue, the anterior portion of the lungs, a 2-part heart, liver, a 2-part stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and the anterior portion of the right kidney. The female pelvic insert opens to reveal pelvic organs as well as an 8-week embryo in the uterus. The male pelvic insert opens to reveal pelvic organs. Laminated key included. Mounted on blue base.
