The skeleton is articulated to show normal posture but can be flexed to show a variety of other postures. Skull movements and rotation of the first 2 vertebrae are possible, and a specially designed neck and spinal column demonstrate increased range of movement involving extraordinary joint dislocation. Special shoulder blade and hip attachments allow greater range of movement to demonstrate internal and external rotation of arms and legs; 1 hand and 1 foot are articulated with elastic filament for increased joint movement. Special articulations of the sacrum and coccygeal joint, and the sacrum and pelvis, allow in-depth study of these 2 important areas of concern. Detachable skull has cut calvarium, 32 teeth, and spring-held lower jaw. Hangs on a stand with 2-part metal rod and stable metal base with casters. Includes plastic dust cover and Human Anatomy Manual. Use with the 3B Smart Anatomy App.
