A Carolina Exclusive! Grades 9-12. Students explore how the concentration of a reactant affects the rate of a reaction and determine the rate law expression from analysis of their data. Using this knowledge, students then design laboratory investigations that measure how temperature and catalysts affect reaction rate. Part of the Inquiries in Science® series. Materials are sufficient for 30 students working in groups of 3.
