Description

Grades 9–12. Students first determine how freezing points of solvents can be depressed by the addition of nonvolatile solutes. They then experimentally determine the molar mass of an unknown compound and design an experiment to determine the boiling point constant for water. Kit includes enough materials for at least 30 students working in groups.
