A Carolina Exclusive! Grades 9-12. In this activity, students work together to observe relationships between organisms. As students examine living creatures in simulated habitats, they study predator/prey, intra- and interspecies competition, and symbiotic relationships. Students first identify the type of relationship present as well as which organism(s) benefit from the relationship. They then design experiments to alter habitat conditions and observe any changes that occur in organism relationships.
