This very small, economical scale allows you to provide every lab group with a scale at their lab station. But it does come with some cautions: It easily fits in a pocket and will be difficult to lock down in a lab. We have found the scale to be durable and reliable, but it will not withstand the abuse that a larger Carolina® or OHAUS balance can handle.100 x 0.01 g. Cover doubles as a tray. Very quick tare mode. Powered by 2 AAA batteries (included).

Note: This scale does not have an ounce-weighing mode.
