The Carolina® Mini Centrifuge is an easy-to-use, feature-packed centrifuge that virtually fits in the palm of your hand. Ideal for any classroom or laboratory, it makes fast spin downs of microtubes and PCR tubes a breeze. Simply close the lid and the centrifuge's motor quickly reaches 6,000 rpm. As an added classroom safety feature, opening the lid activates the braking mechanism, which decelerates the rotor in just 1 sec.

Featuring an 8-position 1.5- or 2.0-mL microtube rotor and a 0.2-mL PCR tube (or 32 x 0.2-mL tubes) rotor, this centrifuge offers great versatility right out of the box. The underside storage compartment securely houses the 0.2-mL PCR tube rotor and 8 included 0.5-mL tube adapters, making it easier to keep track of all your accessories. Adding to these conveniences, the unit features the new Clik-n-Lok™ rotor attachment system, which eliminates the need for tools during rotor exchange. Simply remove and attach the rotor by hand.
