This centrifuge makes it easier than ever to spin down droplets in PCR plates, thanks to a uniquely designed swing-out rotor capable of securing and spinning 2 microplates. Confidently insert the plates (without sealing tapes or caps) onto the 2 included plate carriers that rest at a 75° angle. Upon closing the lid, the rotor accelerates and swings the plates into a horizontal position to ensure droplets quickly concentrate into the well bottoms.

Most samples can be spun down in less than 20 seconds.
Adapters for 96 x 0.2-mL tubes or 8- and 12-position PCR strips (item #217281) and a rotor with carriers for deep well plates (item #217282) are optional accessories sold separately.
