The top-of-the-line SmartDrop™ XF Nano Spectrophotometer can perform not only UV-Vis readings in the range of 200–800 nm but also features an integrated fluorometer for sensitive quantitation of low-concentration nucleic acids, making this unit a powerhouse for your lab bench. It can detect up to 15,000 ng/µL of dsDNA and requires only 0.5 to 2.0 µL of sample to perform nucleic acid and protein calculations in addition to BCA, Bradford, and Lowry assays. The SmartDrop™ XF combines all of the sophistication and ease of use of the SmartDrop™ X (items #216205A and #216205B) with an integrated fluorometer to yield more accurate, sensitive, and selective quantitation of nucleic acids. The blue light channel (460 nm) is useful for detection of dyes such as PicoGreen and RiboGreen as well as GFP and fluorescein. UV-, green-, and red-channel models are available upon request. No external computer is required. Results are displayed in a matter of seconds. The resulting data can be printed with the integrated printer, saved in the onboard memory, or exported via USB as an Excel® file. The SmartDrop™ boosts productivity and saves you time!
