A Carolina Exclusive!

Simple depth perception tester features 2 sliding target arrows that can be moved along a base plate from a prescribed distance. The subject attempts to align the target arrows side by side; a calibrated scale on the base plate shows depth perception errors in millimeters. Can be used for comparison of depth perception using monocular and binocular vision. White and black background panels are included to provide varying contrast with the target arrows.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works for Me I read the review about how the Arrows touch, mine do as well. I overcame this by adding counter weights to the elbow side of the arrows. I use this device for testing drivers depth perception as part of Army driver training evaluation process.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product has a major design flaw The design of this instrument is poor. When you use the cords to align the sliding targets to determine stereopsis, the tips of the opposing target hit each other and give visual clues to alignment. This totally destroys the value of the instrument
