Students can also experimentally determine the effect of slit width and separation (double-slit experiments) and compare their results with the equations' predictions. The included activity guide describes the background and procedures for several experiments and provides the equations for single- and double-slit diffraction experiments. This set also includes a laser pointer holder (to securely hold the laser in place for precision and provide slots for the slides) plus a toggle clip to turn the laser on and off. Each laser requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).
