Designed for use with Enterobacter aerogenes and Klebsiella pnemoniae species of bacteria. This can be used as a selective and differential media to test for the utilization of citrate as a carbon source. A positive result causes the agar to change from green to bright blue. It is recommended that prepared media tubes be used within 3 months of receipt for best results. Note: The species listed are not an inclusive list and are provided to assist novice users in selecting compatible media and bacteria.
