Primarily used for experiments in physical science, physics, and chemistry, this versatile sensor measures voltages across various resistive, capacitive, and inductive components. The NeuLog® Voltage Sensor measures voltages of photovoltaic cells, batteries, power supplies, and electrode potentials, and also investigates the charging and discharging of capacitors. Requires connection hardware (item #369733, #369500, #369510, or #369520, sold separately) to operate.
Smart, easy, and affordable digital data collection technology for now and the future
The next generation of scientific data collection sensors is now available--easier to use, more versatile, and with a lower cost than any other data collection system. For both beginners and advanced users, the NeuLog® data logger sensors offer a simple and flexible solution to collect and analyze the most complex data from your science laboratory experiments or field activities.
When used with the Current Sensor (item #369631), students can study the dependence of current flowing on the applied voltage in various electric circuits. This sensor measures both low-voltage AC and DC circuits and easily connects into electric circuits with its 4-mm plugs. Using a step-down transformer, it also measures the AC voltage of the main electrical supply and checks its 50-/60-Hz frequency (60-Hz and ±20-V maximum).
Note: Requires connection hardware, which is sold separately. For hardwired setup, use the NeuLog® PC Starter Connection Bundle (item #369500) or NeuLog® USB Bridge Module (item #369733). For wireless setup, use the NeuLog® Wi-Fi™ Starter Connection Bundle (item #369510). For stand-alone setup, use the NeuLog® Graphic Display Bundle (item #369520).
