- USDA or USDOT regulations restrict this item from shipping to these locations: Alabama, Alaska, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin. Restricted states will be shipped Elodea canadensis, Elodea najas, or Chara, depending on availability. Gambusia (mosquito fish) cannot be shipped into AK, NY, OR, VA, WA, and WI; guppies will be substituted. HI residents must contact the HI Department of Agriculture before ordering. Residents of AK must apply for a permit from your state game and fish department to receive pond snails. Canadian customers must apply for a Canadian Department of Agriculture permit.
