Grades 6–10. Light enables us to see yet is rarely seen. Scientists have been intrigued by light for centuries, yet your students may not have considered the nature of light. Exploring the Nature of Light introduces light as a form of energy as students investigate where light comes from and how it is produced; experiment with light beams and shadow formation to determine how light travels; and explore the phenomena of color and the electromagnetic spectrum.
