Because the eggs are transparent, embryological development can be observed in the 3 to 4 days before hatching under low-power magnification in a petri dish. Fertile eggs can also be used as biological assays of local water quality.
Kit includes everything needed except aquarium, hood, filter, heater, and timer. Note: Kit contains live fish. Kit should not be shipped over a weekend. Carolina recommends that you request your order to arrive on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday (or even a Saturday) to avoid weekend shipping.
