Tropical fish such as bettas, gouramis, chinese algae eaters, guppies, plecostomus, and algae-eating shrimp are excellent choices for the classroom aquarium. All of our tropical species are hand-selected for size and health, so you can enjoy them for years to come. Aquaria for these fish require a heater to maintain proper water temperature (75 to 80°F). Note: Should not be shipped over a weekend. Carolina recommends that you request your order to arrive on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday (or even a Saturday) to avoid weekend shipping.
